Bella Creature Comforts, LLC is a Texas Corporation solely engaged in the design and marketing of innovative pet products. Michele M. Hedges, the principal of Bella Creature Comforts, was a long time corporate lawyer before succumbing to her love of animals, and going straight to the dogs in establishing the company.


In line with today’s eco-conscious buyer both the Bella Bed® and Bella Binky® are constructed from pre-consumer recycled cotton fiber with the Bella Bed® filler made from recycled soda bottles or PET. We do not use any additives or finishes on our products, such as water or stain repelling chemicals that could irritate pets or trigger allergies Our products are totally washable so that rather than using stain and water retardant chemicals on the products we merely suggest that the customer wash the product when it gets dirty. The side benefits of our not using such chemical finishes is that the products are breathable and can keep the pets more comfortable, and the washability of the entire product prevents the build of dirt and dander in the filler. The Bella Bed® is hand sewn into the cozy cave shape that pets love.

The cotton fiber we use to reweave into our products is wholly sourced in the US, as are all components for our products The Bella Beds® are hand sewn by skilled textile sewers in El Salvador, a CAFTA country (Central Am Free Trade Agreement). The facility is a fair trade sewing cooperative, and is in close proximity to the US. The Bella Binky® blankets are woven for us in a small mill in upstate NY. The patent pending design and innovative green products have won two major industry awards so far!
